Capital Bank Signs MoU with Jordanian Universities to Develop the Skills of Students and Graduates As Part of the Innovate with Capital Program
Capital Bank, as part of its Innovate with Capital program, has signed a memorandum of understanding with a number of Jordanian universities to enhance and develop the skills of students and fresh graduates. The move, which is in line with the bank’s commitment to Jordan’s education sector, will see the program implement specialized training sessions for university students and fresh graduates in order to develop their skills and practical expertise in modern banking techniques, preparing them to work in the banking sector. Exceptional students at the Elia Nuqul Foundation will also have the chance to participate in training, as part of a cooperation agreement signed between the two parties.
As part of the MoU, Capital Bank will train fourth-year university students from the American University of Madaba, the Al-Hussein Technical University, the German-Jordanian University, and the Middle East University, students who currently are the recipients of grants from the Elia Nuqul Foundation, as well as distinguished graduates at its offices in Jordan and the region. The training, which will last for a total of 160 hours, will cover information technology, digital marketing, data analysis, and industrial engineering, allowing trainees to benefit from hands-on opportunities by shadowing bank employees in their area of interest.
Capital Bank’s agreement with the four universities also focuses on cooperation in the fields youth, higher education and scientific research, endowing faculty members in order to further develop the areas. There is also expected to be further cooperation on training, with the possibility of joint programs as well as university faculty members offering seminars to Capital Bank employees in specializations related to banking.
