Capital Leasing Sponsors the Fourth Edition of GREEFIN Forum 2026
Capital Leasing, a subsidiary of Capital Bank Group, sponsored the fourth edition of GREEFIN Forum 2026, organized by the Association of Banks in Jordan as a dialogue platform aimed at advancing sustainability and highlighting the role of green dialogue as a practical tool for strengthening the resilience of the national economy, while also examining the impact of international developments on green finance priorities in the Kingdom.
The sponsorship reflects the company’s commitment to sustainability principles, which form a key pillar of its corporate strategy, and highlights the rapidly evolving role of the banking and financial sector from a traditional provider of financing to a strategic partner in managing transition risks and supporting sustainable growth.
The forum featured specialized sessions addressing key local issues at the heart of global developments, foremost among them the sustainability and resilience of Jordan’s electricity sector. Discussions focused on identifying challenges, exploring potential tools and policies, strengthening coordination between government entities and the banking sector, and developing practical solutions and projects that support sustainability in this vital sector.
The forum brought together a broad range of participants, including the Central Bank of Jordan, government entities responsible for economic policy, banking sector leaders, financial institutions, the private sector, and international development partners. This reinforced the forum’s position as an inclusive national platform for multi-stakeholder dialogue that helped align efforts toward achieving national objectives.
Manar Ameen, General Manager of Capital Leasing, emphasized the importance of participating in such national events, which directly align with the company’s sustainable development objectives and strategies. She explained that the company’s participation in the forum reflects its continued commitment to environmental protection and to supporting national plans and agendas aimed at advancing green finance and enabling environmentally responsible investments in the Kingdom.
It is worth noting that the forum has evolved progressively over the years. Its first edition, launched in 2023, focused on establishing the conceptual and regulatory framework for green finance, while the 2024 edition reinforced its importance as a strategic priority for the banking sector. In 2025, the forum moved toward implementation by supporting the development of green financial products, while the 2026 edition marked a significant step forward by focusing on institutional dialogue as a tool for policymaking and strengthening coordination among the various stakeholders involved in sustainability.
