How to activate Apple Pay?

• Add your card to your Apple Wallet App available on your Apple Device, or through our Capital Mobile Application.

• If you want to use “Apple Pay” on more than one device, you need to add your card to each device separately. 

 

How to Use Apple Pay?

• Make sure that there is a contactless sign on the point-of-sale machine, to ensure it accepts such transactions.

• Wave or tap your mobile at the machine terminal.

• Wait until you hear the beep, or the lights go on signaling that the transaction is successful.

 

 
How to add the card to your Apple Device?

• Go to the Wallet app and tap +.

• Follow the steps to add a new card.

• Tap next – we will verify your information and might ask for more information.

• After verification has been done, tap next.

And now your Apple Pay is ready to be used!

What is Apple Pay?

Apple Pay, is a mobile contactless payment solution that enables customers to make in-store, in apps, and on the web purchases with select Apple devices. You can use Apple Pay everywhere contactless payments are accepted. In stores, you can use Apple Pay on your iPhone or Apple Watch. Within apps, you can use Apple Pay on your iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch. Within websites in Safari, you can use Apple Pay on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac

Who can use Apple Pay?

All Capital Bank Visa Debit or Credit Card holders using iPhone X, iPhone 8, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 6S, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone SE, iPad Pro, iPad Air 2, iPad mini-4, iPad mini 3, iPad (2017), Apple Watch Series 1, Apple Watch Series 2, Apple Watch Series 3, Apple Watch 1st Generation (paired with iPhone 5 or later) can use Apple Pay. Can Apple Pay be used to make online purchases?

Yes. Apple Pay can be used for online/e-commerce payments (via apps and Apple Pay on web). Visit www.apple.com/ae/apple-pay/ for more information.

What should I do if I lose my original payment card?

If your card is lost or stolen, please contact us immediately on +962 6 5100220. Your physical card will be blocked, and a new card will be sent to you upon your request. Since the payment cards on Apple Pay are digital versions of your physical payment cards, you need to remove the original payment card from Apple Pay and register the replacement card.

What should I do if my device is lost or stolen?

If your device is lost/stolen, please contact us immediately on +962 6 5100220 and we can block your card on Apple Pay. We recommend that you also register for and use Find My iPhone. This will allow you to find, lock and delete details on your phone if it is lost or stolen.

How many cards can I register into Apple Pay?

You can register up to 12 payment cards in Apple Pay. (Credit Cards, Debit Cards and Prepaid Cards)
