Capital Bank Hosts Iftar for Orphans in Partnership with Tkiyet Um Ali
At the iftar, Capital Bank team members were on hand to supervise the distribution of meals to the children, as well as to run games and competitions throughout the event.
Capital Bank Group Chief Marketing & Corporate Communication Officer, Touleen Barto spoke of the importance the bank places on hosting iftars such as this one, which meshes perfectly with the main pillars of its CSR strategy to support the youth, education, healthcare as well as social and economic development.
Barto went on to add that the iftar embodies the depth of the partnership between Capital Bank and Tkiyet Um Ali, which is a model Civil Society Organization that works tirelessly to eradicate hunger through the distribution of food packages. According to Barto, Capital Bank’s team members actively take part in the bank’s volunteering initiatives, which are an essential part of the company’s mandate of being an active contributor to the communities within which it operates.
