Capital Bank Marks 30th Anniversary by Supporting “Atfaluna” in Treating 30 Children
As part of its 30th-anniversary celebrations, Capital Bank has reaffirmed its strategic partnership with “Atfaluna” for the third consecutive year by funding medical treatment for 30 children.
Launched during the holy month of Ramadan, this initiative reflects Capital Bank’s commitment to supporting underprivileged communities and raising awareness about the importance of providing medical care to children in need. The bank also hopes to encourage donations and contributions to help expand access to essential medical treatment.
Touleen Barto, Chief Marketing and Corporate Communications Officer at Capital Bank, commented on the initiative, stating, “Our partnership with ‘Atfaluna’ is both long-standing and deeply meaningful. We take great pride in continuing our support for this vital humanitarian cause. As we celebrate our 30th anniversary, we remain committed to launching initiatives that benefit the community and raise awareness about important social issues that require collective action.”
Barto also emphasized that through this and other humanitarian initiatives, Capital Bank is reinforcing its leadership in community service, striving to enhance sustainability efforts and social responsibility programs that create lasting positive change.
Safa Jarrar, co-founder and fundraising committee head at Atfaluna, expressed her appreciation for the partnership, saying, “The continued support from Capital Bank is a significant initiative that enables us to provide medical care to children, ease their suffering, and support their recovery. It also helps us fulfill our mission of ensuring that underprivileged children have fair access to medical treatment.” She encouraged local institutions to follow Capital Bank’s example, as such efforts bring hope and joy to many children.
Founded in 2015 by a group of volunteers from various professional backgrounds, “Atfaluna” was established with the goal of providing medical care to children in need. Through generous donations and the dedicated efforts of an ever-growing network of volunteers, the foundation has successfully helped thousands of children receive high-quality healthcare. At the same time, it continues to work toward ensuring that every child has the opportunity to live with hope and dignity.
