Capital Bank Hosts Al Shams Al Mushriqa Gala Dinner at Mount Nebo
Capital Bank announced its sponsorship of Al Shams Al Mushriqa Gala Dinner that took place in Mount Nebo where all the proceeds will be put towards treating children at the King Hussein Cancer Center, along with other social causes that the organization supports. 160 individuals from the local business community participated in the gala dinner.
Capital Bank’s sponsorship of this event sheds light on its social responsibility, maintaining the bank’s goals and plans regarding supporting local communities. The bank’s aim is to support cancer patients through collaborating with the King Hussein Cancer Center, or through contributing to supporting different causes and organizations that help battle this disease and provide support for those impacted by it.
Al Shams Al Mushriqa is a nonprofit organization that aims to help the less fortunate within society, with a focus on supporting women and children. Founded in 2007, the organization has various projects. This year alone, they supported the fund for the excelling underprivileged students in schools in Madaba, built professional basketball courts in Alfayha Model Academy, supplied and supported nursing professionals for the Gaza refugee camp, and supported the Iraq Al-Amir ladies association.
