Capital Bank’s Senior and Executive Management and Employees Donate One Million Dinars to Himmat Watan Fund

Capital Bank said in a press statement that its chairman, Bassem Khalil Al-Salem, has donated an amount of 100,000 dinars, while the members of the board of directors have collectively donated 250,000 dinars. Furthermore, Group CEO Dawod Al Ghoul has donated 50,000 dinars to the Fund, and CEO of National Bank of Iraq, Ayman Abu Dhaim, has made another donation of 50,000 dinars.

Members of Capital Bank’s executive management and employees have also contributed an amount of 550,000 dinars, with total donations from Capital Bank reaching an amount of one million Jordanian dinars.

This donation for Himmat Watan Fund reflects the national and social duty of Capital Bank towards the country, and is in line with the Bank’s corporate culture which is based on strengthening the ties of solidarity and cooperation among all members of the society. The donation represents Capital Bank’s contribution to support the Jordanian government in its fight against the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis.

Moreover, the donation is a way for the Capital Bank family to express its deep appreciation for the efforts made by various national institutions, led by the Ministry of Health, Arab Army, and Royal Medical Services, to limit the spread of the coronavirus in Jordan, safeguard the health and safety of its citizens, and work around the clock to protect the country and its resources, while stressing the importance of solidarity and collaboration among all members and groups of the society during these exceptional circumstances.
