Capital Bank Supports Specialized Training Program to Empower the Visually Impaired in Using Artificial Intelligence
As part of its ongoing commitment to impactful community initiatives, Capital Bank has sponsored a specialized training program organized by the Cultural Forum for the Blind. The program was designed to equip visually impaired individuals with advanced skills in using artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to create and develop digital content.
The initiative addresses the pressing need for specialized training that enables people with visual impairments to harness the potential of AI in improving academic work, producing digital content, and building e-marketing websites.
The program provided participants with a comprehensive introduction to AI fundamentals and Prompt Engineering, along with basic programming skills using accessible languages such as Python. Participants also learned to develop simple scripts that interact with AI interfaces to enhance productivity. In addition, they were trained on producing multimedia content that complies with accessibility and inclusivity standards, empowering them to become more independent, digitally creative, and better integrated into diverse work environments.
The training is expected to help participants generate high-quality content through precise and effective prompts, build simple applications or scripts to streamline workflows, and produce accessible written, visual, and audio materials. These skills open up new opportunities for freelance work and knowledge- and technology-based entrepreneurial projects.
Capital Bank highlighted the importance of this initiative as a practical step toward empowering visually impaired individuals to actively participate in the digital economy and take charge of their future. The Bank emphasized that its support reflects a strong belief in technology, especially AI, as a gateway to limitless opportunities, and reaffirmed the responsibility of the banking sector to ensure these opportunities are accessible to all, without exception.
The Bank added that this initiative aligns with its corporate social responsibility strategy, underscoring its role as a committed partner in inclusive digital transformation. By supporting sustainable, future-ready solutions, Capital Bank aims to promote workforce integration and create new pathways for growth.
