Capital Bank Sponsors “Little Genius 2026” and Awards Scholarship to the First-Place Winner

As part of its commitment to supporting educational initiatives and fostering creativity and excellence among young people, Capital Bank sponsored the final stage of the “Little Genius 2026” competition. The event brought together more than 350 attendees, including students’ families, educational and administrative staff, and representatives from participating private schools across Jordan.

The Bank’s sponsorship of this national competition reflects its dedication to supporting programs that nurture students’ intellectual and creative abilities, build their self-confidence, and encourage academic excellence within a stimulating environment that promotes positive competition and recognizes achievement. The initiative also aligns with Capital Bank’s corporate social responsibility strategy, which places education and youth empowerment among its key priorities, recognizing their vital role in building a more advanced and sustainable future.

In a press statement, Capital Bank emphasized that its support for the “Little Genius 2026” competition stems from its belief in the importance of investing in young talent and providing opportunities for students to showcase their abilities and develop their skills in an environment that encourages creativity, confidence, and personal growth. Through such initiatives, the bank aims to help prepare a generation capable of achieving excellence and making a meaningful contribution to society.

This year’s competition was held in two main stages. It began with preliminary rounds conducted within participating schools to identify the highest-performing students, followed by the final round, where qualified contestants competed for the title of “Little Genius 2026.” The event offered an engaging and interactive experience designed to promote academic achievement and foster a healthy spirit of challenge among participants.

Reaffirming its support for high-impact educational initiatives, Capital Bank awarded a scholarship worth JOD 3,000 to the first-place winner. The bank was also recognized for its contribution to the success of the competition and presented with a commemorative shield in appreciation of its support for this educational event.

On the sidelines of the competition, Capital Bank showcased its “Capital Bright” savings account through a dedicated booth. Designed to help parents plan financially for their children’s future, the account promotes the concept of smart saving from an early age, in line with the competition’s educational and awareness objectives. The account offers a range of monthly prizes, in addition to a grand prize consisting of an educational insurance policy valued at up to JOD 50,000.
