Capital Bank Sponsors Endeavor Event for Business Development Opportunities in the F&B Sector
The workshop aimed at providing opportunities for entrepreneurs in the F&B sector to develop their businesses by introducing them to the latest methods used in this sector, as well as give them the opportunity to present their projects to senior professionals and experts working in this field, and exchange tips and know-how that can enrich their experience. The workshop also aimed at providing an opportunity for manufacturers working in this field to learn about the world of entrepreneurship and how to adopt the best entrepreneurial practices in the F&B sector in order to increase their production efficiency, manage multiple resources, and penetrate new markets.
The workshop introduced manufacturers and entrepreneurs to the concepts of entrepreneurship and their impact on increasing production efficiency. It provided opportunities for manufacturers to benefit from the experiences and competencies of entrepreneurs who were able to develop their businesses and companies from simple ideas with market values of no more than a few thousands at their inception, to companies exceeding tens of millions of dollars for some of them.
The workshop is part of a series of regular workshops held by Endeavor Jordan as part of its ongoing efforts to develop the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the Kingdom.
By sponsoring the workshop, Capital Bank seeks to highlight the key banking solutions and services it provides to the industrial sector. In fact, the Bank plays a significant role in supporting and financing SMEs, which constitute more than 90% of the total organizations working across economic sectors, employing over 60% of the workforce, and contributing to 50% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
Capital Bank offers financing solutions to help expand existing SMEs through Central Bank of Jordan financing programs (loans) offered at preferential rates and with long repayment periods, and aimed at supporting the industrial, alternative energy, tourism and agricultural sectors, or by obtaining loan guarantees through local or international institutions.
In March, Capital Bank sponsored a training program organized by Endeavor Jordan with the aim to enhance and develop the skills and capabilities of entrepreneurs in Jordan by highlighting effective business management, and identifying market growth opportunities and investment readiness, as well as discussing concepts and strategies to support and grow their businesses in a changing economy.
Endeavor is a non-profit organization headquartered in New York that focuses on stimulating global entrepreneurial activity by providing mentorship to innovative founders based in emerging markets.
