Capital Bank Sponsors 360 Moms Breast Cancer Awareness Event
As part of its commitment to supporting health initiatives and women’s well-being, Capital Bank announced its Gold Sponsorship of a breast cancer awareness session organized by 360 Moms at Abdali Hospital during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The session focused on raising awareness of the importance of early detection and regular screenings. It also gave participants the opportunity to speak directly with medical specialists, ask questions, and receive reliable medical information to help them understand the appropriate steps for follow-up care.
Dr. Laith Al-Showbaki, Dr. Ola Al-Neamy, and Dr. Layal El-Asir took part in the session, sharing practical medical information and guidance on breast cancer and early detection, while answering participants’ questions.
Touleen Barto, EVP – Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications at Capital Bank, said: “The bank’s sponsorship of this initiative reflects our commitment to supporting women’s health and providing access to information that helps women make informed decisions about their healthcare. With the many responsibilities women balance at work and at home, their health deserves to remain a priority. Awareness becomes truly valuable when it leads to seeking medical advice or receiving appropriate follow-up care”.
Barto added: “The session gave mothers and daughters an opportunity to discuss their health and highlighted the important role families play in encouraging regular follow-ups and providing the time and support women need, while respecting each woman’s privacy and individual experience. Through our support for such initiatives, we aim to encourage continued attention to health beyond Breast Cancer Awareness Month.”
The sponsorship is part of Capital Bank’s corporate social responsibility programs, which include supporting women’s issues and community-focused awareness initiatives in collaboration with specialized organizations.
