Capital Bank Marks the Successful Conclusion of the "Seven Mountains" Initiative in Support of Children at the King Hussein Cancer Center

Capital Bank has marked the successful conclusion of its sponsorship of the Seven Mountains initiative for the second consecutive year. Through this partnership, the initiative continued its humanitarian mission of raising public awareness and mobilizing support for children on the waiting list for treatment at the King Hussein Cancer Center, reflecting the Bank's commitment to supporting initiatives that deliver meaningful and lasting social impact.

Commenting on the initiative's conclusion, Touleen Barto, Chief Marketing and Corporate Communications Officer at Capital Bank, said the Bank is proud to support the initiative for a second consecutive year. She noted that the partnership embodies Capital Bank's vision of building community partnerships that create sustainable impact and reflects its belief in empowering youth-led national initiatives and harnessing their potential to advance humanitarian causes.

For his part, the initiative's founder, Louay Shomaly, expressed his appreciation for the strategic partnership with Capital Bank, noting that the Bank's continued sponsorship has strengthened the initiative's profile and expanded its ability to reach a wider audience with its humanitarian message. He added that the partnership represents a successful model of collaboration between the private sector and youth-led initiatives working to serve the community and foster a culture of giving.

Founded by Louay Shomaly in 2017, the Seven Mountains initiative organizes mountain-climbing expeditions undertaken by young people and volunteers. The climbs serve as a symbolic representation of the challenges faced by cancer patients throughout their treatment journey, while raising public awareness about the importance of solidarity and community support. The initiative also contributes to efforts aimed at providing life-saving treatment for underprivileged children.
