Capital Bank Announces Silver Sponsorship of the “Salwan Al-Amal 2026” Initiative Supporting Underprivileged Children and Families During Ramadan
Capital Bank announced its silver sponsorship of “Salwan Al-Amal 2026” initiative, organized by Hareer Foundation for Community Development during the holy month of Ramadan. The sponsorship reflects the bank’s ongoing commitment to social responsibility and its dedication to promoting the values of solidarity and compassion, while helping bring joy and comfort to underprivileged communities.
“Salwan Al-Amal 2026” builds on a humanitarian initiative launched in 2018. This year’s program includes organizing communal iftar gatherings, distributing food parcels, and providing gifts to children and beneficiary families. The initiative places particular focus on supporting children with cancer and their families, orphans, children from the Gaza Strip, as well as people with disabilities and sanitation workers.
During Ramadan 2026, the initiative aims to organize 10 communal iftar events benefiting around 5,000 people, distribute 1,000 food parcels, and provide Eid clothing and gifts, helping bring smiles to beneficiaries across different governorates of the Kingdom.
Touleen Barto, Chief Marketing and Corporate Communications Officer at Capital Bank, highlighted that Ramadan presents a renewed opportunity to reinforce the values of giving and social responsibility. She noted that the bank’s support for “Salwan Al-Amal” initiative reflects its belief in the importance of collaboration among national institutions to serve the community, particularly through initiatives that create meaningful and sustainable social impact.
Since its launch, “Salwan Al-Amal” initiative has reached more than 20,000 children and families and organized over 50 communal iftar events, demonstrating its growing impact and continued contribution to humanitarian efforts across the Kingdom.
