Capital Bank renews sponsorship for 10 families supported by Tkiyet Um Ali
The agreement was signed by Capital Bank Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications, Isam Samara, and Tkiyet Um Ali Director of Resource Development, Ibrahim Fakhir.
Capital Bank has consistently supported Tkiyet Um Ali's efforts to combat hunger by providing sustainable food support to families living below the food poverty line.
In addition to supporting the Family Sponsorship Program, Capital Bank is keen to create opportunities to actively involve the Bank’s volunteers in various volunteer programs organized by Tkiyet Um Ali, such as food packaging and distribution to beneficiary families, home renovations and other programs throughout the year.
During the month of Ramadan, Capital Bank also sponsored an Iftar hosted by Tkiyet Um Ali as part of the “Mawa’ed Al-Rahman” program. A number of Bank employees and members of the Executive Management volunteered to serve an Iftar for fasting guests who came to the Tkiyet Um Ali headquarters on a daily basis throughout the holy month.

Fakhir further pointed out that Tkiyet Umm Ali is currently delivering monthly and sustainable food support to 30,000 families living below the food poverty line across all the governorates of the Kingdom, amounting up to 160,000 individuals who have food parcels delivered to them monthly and throughout the year.
