Capital Bank Launches the First Humanoid Robot “Pepper” in its Branches
With the launch of “Pepper” the robot, Capital Bank will be the first bank in Jordan to provide this artificial intelligence service. This is a part of the bank’s continuous efforts in digital transformation to provide innovative solutions to meet the needs of the bank’s individual and corporate customers.
Capital bank signed a contract with Proven Solution, a company specialized in developing solutions and services based on artificial intelligence, robotics, and virtual reality technology. The company developed the humanoid robot Pepper, with the aim of improving customer experience using the latest technology.
Capital Bank has four robots distributed across its branches in Al Madinah, Dabouq, Taj Mall and Abdoun that interact with customers and transform their experience by informing them about products, services and campaigns offered by the bank and answering their inquiries. These robots will also be participating in any events held by the bank.
Head of Consumer Banking, Mohammed Othman, commented, “The launch of this innovative service is an addition to previous steps launched by Capital Bank in the implementation of its strategic programs in the field of digital transformation.” Pointing out Capital Bank’s commitment to providing innovative and highly efficient banking services for clients to meet their future needs.
Othman stressed that Capital Bank is continuing to adopt and launch more digital banking services and solutions to serve its customers and adopt creative and advanced ways to create a shift in the Jordanian banking market.
