Capital Bank and Haya Cultural Center Host an Event to Inspire Creativity and Learning
In a step that reflects its strong belief in the power of education as a driver of positive change, Capital Bank, in collaboration with Haya Cultural Center, organized a special event in celebration of International Literacy Day. The event brought together 50 children from Qura Al-Ain’s Association, with Capital Bank employees volunteering their time to help nurture the children’s creativity and imagination.
This initiative falls under Capital Bank’s corporate social responsibility strategy, which focuses on supporting cultural and creative initiatives while encouraging employees to participate in volunteering activities that create a meaningful and lasting impact on the community.
The children took part in a series of engaging and educational activities, starting with a storytelling session led by author Susan Ghawi, followed by hands-on creative workshops that included candle making, 3D printing, and tambourine painting, all designed to combine learning with fun.
Capital Bank emphasized that its partnership with the Haya Cultural Center is a long-standing one, grounded in shared values and a mutual belief in the center’s mission to foster children’s talents and creative growth. This collaboration reflects the bank’s commitment to strengthening community partnerships through impactful programs, driven by its belief that investing in education and culture is an investment in the future of generations to come.
Established in 1976, the Haya Cultural Center is Jordan’s first non-profit cultural institution dedicated to developing children’s abilities across cultural, academic, educational, and social fields, while nurturing their creativity and refining their talents.
