Capital Bank Launches Comprehensive Financial Literacy Program in Collaboration with Edraak to Empower Jordanian and Arab Youth
Capital Bank, in collaboration with Edraak, the leading Arabic online learning platform launched by the Queen Rania Foundation for Education and Development to enhance education and skill development across the region, has launched a comprehensive financial literacy program designed to strengthen financial awareness among Jordanian and Arab youth and equip them with essential financial planning skills.
This collaboration reflects the Bank’s firm commitment to social responsibility, with a special focus on financial education and youth empowerment. It stems from Capital Bank’s belief that young people are the cornerstone of Jordan’s economic future and one of the key groups that must be equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to build a better tomorrow.
Touleen Barto, Chief Marketing and Corporate Communications Officer at Capital Bank, said, “We are proud of this partnership with Edraak, one of the most prominent educational initiatives in the Arab world. It reflects our strong commitment to social responsibility and our dedication to investing in young people’s potential, empowering them with the financial knowledge and skills they need to build their future.”
She added that participants can register for the program free of charge, complete the training courses at their own pace, and receive a certificate upon fulfilling all requirements.
David Lazaro, Director of Edraak, stated, “At Edraak, we are committed to offering free educational courses that address the daily needs of Arab youth, both personally and professionally. Through this collaboration with Capital Bank, we aim to help young people develop practical skills such as financial planning, resource management, and smart decision-making. Together, we continue our mission to provide content that empowers a generation capable of facing challenges with confidence and competence.”
The program will consist of three integrated stages designed to offer a comprehensive and practical learning experience:
Stage One (October 2025): Edraak has launched a free online specialization on October 14, featuring three specialized modules: Money Fundamentals: Managing and Saving Money, Investment Basics and Financial Growth Strategies, and Business Management, Pricing, and FinTech Applications. These modules highlight the importance of long-term financial planning and provide entrepreneurs with foundational financial knowledge. Participants can learn at their own pace and receive a certificate of completion upon finishing the course.
Stage Two (2025–2026): Interactive live sessions will be held on Zoom during, managed by Edraak, giving participants the opportunity to engage directly with financial experts, ask questions, and discuss real-world financial topics and bridging the gap between theory and practical application.
Stage Three: An intensive three-day, in-person training will be organized for around 50 selected participants. The sessions will include workshops and expert-led discussions, along with opportunities for networking and exchanging experiences and ideas.
Edraak is one of the region’s leading educational platforms, providing free Arabic-language online courses across a wide range of disciplines, including science, life skills, digital literacy, finance, entrepreneurship, communication, and teamwork. Through this approach, Edraak enables Arab youth to pursue continuous learning and acquire the skills needed to succeed in today’s digital age and modern economy.
