Capital Bank and SAMA Hold Event for Down Syndrome Creatives
Participants showcased a variety of products at the event, including handicrafts and pieces of their own designs. The event was well received by Capital Bank employees, who purchased products to motivate and support participants to be active and productive members of society.
Group Chief Marketing & Corporate Communication Officer at Capital Bank, Touleen Barto expressed the bank’s appreciation for the efforts made by the SAMA Association in supporting and assisting Down Syndrome patients and their families, as well as its significant role in promoting awareness of the disease among the community.
Barto stressed that Capital Bank is always working on the pillars that serve the bank’s social responsibility strategy which focus on supporting sectors such as education, health, economic and social development. This strategy is implemented through a long-standing partnership with local community organizations and institutions by supporting their events and activities to achieve the desired benefit for their beneficiaries.
Since its establishment, Capital Bank has been committed to partnering with civil society organizations to support their activities and events which enable them to achieve their short- and long-term goals in the areas of education, skills-building, economic and social empowerment, as well as charity work to serve the local community.
