Balance in all aspects of life and proper planning” is the motto that Haytham Kamhiyah, the General Manager of Capital Bank, lives by, which has led him to become one of the most important business leaders in the Kingdom today.
After completing his primary and secondary education, Kamhiyah went on to study accounting in the University of Jordan. He then pursued his graduate studies as a CPA legal accountant in Chicago, Illinois, receiving a CMA certificate in management accounting licensed from the state of New Jersey.
After completing his graduate studies, Kamhiyah joined one of the largest auditing firms in the world, headquartered in the United States of America. He worked there for more than three years.
In 1995, the Export and Finance Bank was founded, offering its services to the largest corporate businesses in the Kingdom. After returning from the United States, Kamhiyah joined the Bank to work as a Finance Manager.
In 2003, the Export and Finance Bank changed its name to Capital Bank. Two years after the name has changed, Kamhiyah assumed the role of the Bank’s General Manager, after working for years as the Bank’s Finance Manager. In doing so, he became the youngest manager in the Kingdom at the time.
Under his leadership and various achievements, Capital Bank has become the third-ranked Jordanian bank in terms of capital.
Kamhiyah has always put to heart the motto “distinguish yourself from others” in all aspects of his life. It is this motto, in addition to his perseverance and hard work that brought him to the position of the Bank’s General Manager.
Kamhiyah stresses that maintaining balance in all aspects of life has helped him reach the goal he had strove for all his life, in addition to ambition, hard-work, diligence, and perseverance.
