Capital Bank has announced that it will support Umnyat Organization’s Friends of Labib program, which aims to develop young students’ emotional intelligence and social skills, to help build their character during primary-level education.
Capital Bank is no stranger to supporting social causes. It has long lent its support to initiatives that help develop the community, including education and social care.
The Friends of Labib program, which is carried out in 31 countries and was designed by international experts in the field of developing children’s education systems, is considered one of the most important programs internationally. The program aims to help children develop their social skills at the early stages of their education.
Capital Bank’s General Manager Haytham Kamhiyah stressed the importance of these initiatives that address children’s development and skills. “Developing these skills will not only reflect positively on the children’s academic performance and its development, but also on their future success on a personal and practical levels. These organizations also help prepare these children to build healthy social relationships and develop their ability to lead and make decisions in the future.”
He added that what makes the Jordanian society special is its young population which, if given the right support, is able to be productive and keep up with changing technologies.
“Investing in this young generation is essential to the development of our whole nation,” said Kamhiyah.
