Capital Bank participated in career fairs at the German Jordanian University (GJU) and University of Jordan on April 14, 2016. The fairs, which allow private sector companies to connect directly with university students, gives the bank the opportunity to choose qualified candidates to work for it upon graduation, as well as giving them any training opportunities they may need. Furthermore, Capital Bank seized the occasion to discuss the labor market’s current needs with the students.
Capital Bank General Manager Haytham Kamhiyah said, “Capital Bank’s participation in these fairs is an integral part of our strategic plan to boost and qualify the national professional skills of university graduates and provide them with job opportunities. Through these fairs, we support the objectives of Jordanian universities to gear up students for entry into the labor market.”
Kamhiyah went on to say that such activities help graduates meet and connect with participating companies, stressing the vital role that universities play in preparing students for the labor market and providing them with quantifiable expertise. Capital Bank prides itself on its support of initiatives pertaining to youth and education, and offering job opportunities as part of its efforts in corporate social responsibility.
