Capital Bank has announced its platinum sponsorship of the 'Small and Medium Enterprises: The Road to Economic Growth' forum, organized by the Union of Arab Banks in cooperation with the Central Bank and the Association of Banks in Jordan. The forum was held under the patronage of HE Dr. Ziad Fariz, Governor of the Central Bank of Jordan, in the presence of a number of experts, specialists and stakeholders in this vital sector.
On the sidelines of the two-day forum, Capital Bank’s customer service presented to the audience the range of financing and advisory products and solutions offered SME’s. They also responded to queries from the audience throughout the duration of the forum.
Capital Bank General Manager, Haytham Kamhiyah, pointed that the Bank's participation in the forum is consistent with its distinguished experience in supporting this sector in Jordan. The Bank believes in the importance of these forums to provide a suitable environment for the development of constructive solutions and ideas to support the stakeholders in this sector.
Kamhiyah added, "We understand the importance of providing customized and quick services for the development of the business. Nowadays, customers seek advanced services and innovative financial solutions all in one place, which has led the Bank to open specialized centers for this sector within its branches."
Kamhiyah also mentioned that the Bank, as part of its strategy, offers specialized and comprehensive financing options for various SME business activities including industrial, commercial and vocational sectors.These include financing purchases, financing working capital, and sales in addition to financing fixed capital, either through Central Bank advances at preferential rates and long and flexible tenor periods or through the Bank directly and via loan guarantees through local and international organizations such as OPIC and JLGC with a guarantee rate equivalent to 60% for enterprises located within Amman or 75% for enterprises located outside Amman .
